Portland- and LA-based artist, working with video and photography, as well as arcane and idiosyncratic techniques and materials, Leonard’s work sometimes nods to a net art-inspired aesthetic and creates what the press release calls “offbeat, provocative portraits and images of the human figure that push the boundaries of the photographic medium and engage the viewer in a dialogue about representation, data, and individuality.”
